Under the Umbrella | Rainbows, Travels, and Tuesdays Together

Updated: Sep 7, 2020

I'm so glad I have been under my umbrella this week ;)

It rained quite a bit, but everything worked out wonderfully! Anyways, I love the RAIN!

  • I had so much fun second shooting two beautiful weddings with friends last weekend, Friday with Jen of From Jens Len and Saturday with Emily of Emily Megan Photography! I just love weddings, and even when it's with couples I just met, I still cry my eyes out during their day.

  • Karl and I went up to Cave Point on Sunday to hang out and relax. We just love it up there, and it's kind of rare to get a full day to just do nothing. It was so restful to just simply be for the day, hanging in a hammock above Lake Michigan and getting lost in a good book.

  • Sunday evening was spent with the wonderful Tim and Brittany for one unforgettable engagement session. It rained for the first half an hour, but when it settled and the clouds cleared, a gorgeous rainbow appeared! These two are so adventurous, and I loved every minute of it!

  • Our Tuesdays Together group had our styled shoot this week at Homestead Meadows, and I still can't get over all the prettiness that took place. We had some incredibly talented vendors and it was so fun to shoot alongside other photographers that have become such good friends in the last year. I am so grateful for the Rising Tide Society, and our local group!! I'll be sharing more about the shoot next week on the blog and all the wonderful vendors included, so stay tuned!

  • We're currently in sweet ole' Tennessee the week! Visiting my sister and brother-in-law. in Nashville! I just love this state and spending time with family, I can't wait to share more about our trip with you!

Cheers to the weekend!
