Nashville Adventures

Updated: Sep 7, 2020

I lived in eastern Tennessee for a summer when I was in college, and have since then been waiting for the chance to go back to the good ole' Volunteer State. I've always wanted to visit Nashville. I've only ever driven through it and flown out of its airport. I've never been able to truly see the city's beauty or experience its magic. When my sister and her husband decided to move to Nashville earlier this year, we knew we wanted to visit them once they got a little settled. So in June we finally got to get a little taste and drove our little car all the way down to music city - Nashville, Tennessee.

We did so much during our time there and we had so much fun!! Jon and Shay showed us around as we hit up all the famous spots. Such as the Parthenon and the Grand Ole Opry. We enjoyed the best doughnuts I have EVER had from Five Daughters Bakery, and quaint sights and shops in The Factory and Leipers Fork. Every night we ended our day relaxing indoors with AC and a movie, and on our last day, we took on a little hike and found ourselves a beautiful waterfall at the end. I loved every minute, it was so so good to be back in Tennessee!

I'm so glad I took tons of pictures, both with my Nikon and phone, so I can always remember my first trip to Nashville! Though I hate being so far from my sister, I do love that she lives in such a beautiful place that I intend to visit often :D

It was good to be reunited with my little sis, and do what we do best - laugh out loud!

We got to see HaasStyle Hair Co. (Jon's new salon studio) and Jon gave Karl a new do!

Tasted some delicious brew from Honest Comany

These are seriously the BEST doughnuts I have ever tasted!

The Factory is a pretty cool place

Grand Ole Opry House!

We decided to venture downtown and walk the streets hosting the CMA festivals

Dinner at Hattie B's was SO good!

Leiper's Fork is the most darling little area!

Family that sweats together, stays together :D

We believe in Nashville!
