Today I am soaking up my last day to wear PANTS in 2017!! Don’t worry, I won’t be going bottomless for the rest of the year. Starting tomorrow I will be participating in Dressember, a campaign focused on raising awareness on human trafficking by wearing a dress every day of December.
This will be my third year participating in Dressember, and being a part of such an incredible cause making an impact has become a highlight of each year. I have a deep passion for fighting human trafficking, but like many issues, it felt too big to help. What can I really do? So when I discovered Dressember, I felt a bit of hope. Wear a dress for 31 days. This I can do!
And you can too!
If you want to make a difference along with me, you can become an advocate and wear a dress with me, or you can donate. In the past few years we have raised over $3 million for our partners, providing the means to create and build victim relief programs that make a lasting impact. This year, my campaign goal is $350. All the proceeds go towards rescuing victims, serving justice, and restoring lives.
Dressember is so much more than a dress, it's a movement. A community of passionate individuals who are locking arms to face one of the greatest injustices of our time. By choosing to wear a dress, we are advocating for the freedom and inherent dignity of all women, and supporting the abolition of modern day slavery!
Thank you, thank you for supporting me in this space. For donation information view my fundraising page here:

Dressember is an opportunity to reclaim and reappropriate
the dress as a symbol of freedom and power;
a flag for the inherent dignity of all people."
