"Your bride looks pretty beautiful!" I said to Andrew as I arrived to photograph the gentlemen before the ceremony.
"She always does." he instinctively replied.
Beneath a canopy of leaves, Andrew and Karly held hands and shared their marriage vows. And as the river's current flowed below them, they became husband and wife. Family and friends celebrated together their joyous union and their sweet boy, Hudson, was so precious adding even more to all the special moments in their beautiful day.
The morning welcomed a bit of rain, but by the time Karly stepped into her stunning dress the sun stepped out from the clouds to stay. I couldn't stop swooning over the bouquets, and so many other details that made their day so lovely. Andrew and Karly have the best of friends who stood beside them, so helpful and kind, and kept the celebrations going all night long.
Their reception included an anniversary dance I'll never forget as nearly half the couples who danced have been married 25 years or more! The longest dancing couple celebrated 50 years of marriage - wow! I just love that. When asked what's their advice for the newlyweds? She jokingly replied, "Let Andrew coach for 40 years, you'll never see him to have the chance to fight." I guess sports is the secret after all!!
What a wonderful time I had capturing Andrew and Karly's wedding day. These two are so sweet and I loved every moment. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Harrison. I wish you many, many years of joy and love! Thank you again for letting me be a part of your special day.
